Description

During the opening round of the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow of the May 15th 2025, Eric Cole aced the 186-yard par-3 4th hole with a 6-iron—his second career ace on the PGA TOUR and his first in a major. The ball landed just short of the front-left hole location before bounding directly into the cup. The hole-in-one brought Cole from +2 to even par midway through the round, a key recovery following a double bogey on the 2nd hole.

This flag flew on the 4th hole that Thursday, May 15th. After the completion of Round 2, a TRuEST™ Authenticator covert-marked the flag on-site. The next day, after the covert mark was verified, a Golf OVD hologram was applied—making it the first officially authenticated item in PGA of America history.

The flag features the official 2025 PGA Championship design, with Quail Hollow event branding and the number “4” clearly identifying its position on course.
