Description

Presented to "Yella", this commemorative sales award celebrates the success of Creepin on Ah Come Up, the 1994 debut EP from Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. Released through Ruthless Records, the project became an unexpected commercial breakthrough—earning widespread attention for its distinctive melodic flows, atmospheric production, and the standout single “Thuggish Ruggish Bone.”

The EP marked a major evolution for the Ruthless label, which had previously centered West Coast acts like N.W.A., Eazy-E, and Michel’Le. Bone Thugs, originally from Cleveland, introduced a new regional sound that fused double-time raps with harmonic hooks and moody, G-funk-inspired instrumentals. Executive produced by Eazy-E, the release expanded Ruthless’s national reach and laid the foundation for the group’s Grammy-winning run in the years that followed.

This award recognizes the sale of more than 3 million combined copies of the album, cassette, and CD versions of Creepin on ah Come Up, as noted on the large-format presentation plate. It features three silver-colored LPs, a cassette and CD representation, five image insets featuring the album’s artwork, and a brushed steel plate personalized to “YELLA.” His signature appears on the outer glass of the frame.

Visible tearing and wear to the original brown paper backing. Mild edge wear to the frame. Please review images for full condition details.
